PSD Global Academy opened in 2009 as PSD’s first online and blended learning model school. In 2010 we opened the PGA campus, allowing our K-12 students to experience a true hybrid learning model combining in-person learning with virtual coursework and high parent/guardian engagement as they support their students with asynchronous learning. With the addition of the Virtual path in 2021, students in grades 6th - 12th are now able to participate in school completely online, taught by PGA teachers, joining classmates for synchronous classes, and having the additional support of a dedicated adult at home.   

Students at all academic levels benefit from our blended & individualized learning and the relationships that develop in our small, positive, student-centered community. Partnership is at the core of PGA. Our hybrid and virtual models rely upon the support of a Learning Coach (generally a parent or guardian) to support their student(s) with accessing learning resources, completing lessons both online and offline, and monitoring progress in core academic subjects.
